NeedleCheck Terms
Last updated: 14 October 2026.
These Terms apply to the NeedleCheck app and website during the closed test. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not create an account.
Who we are
NeedleCheck is run by Anton Astapenka, a private person in Poland. Contact: [email protected].
The test
- NeedleCheck is in a closed test with invited people. It is free.
- Features can change, break or stop without notice. We can end the test at any time.
- Do not rely on the app as the only list of your collection. Keep your own copy of important data.
Your account
- You must be 16 or older.
- One account per person. Keep access to your email: the sign-in code goes there.
- Your username must not impersonate another person, or be offensive or unlawful. We can change or remove such a username.
- You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Delete account.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- try to get access to other users' data or to our systems;
- send automated requests to our servers, or use the app to collect catalog data in bulk;
- disturb the service for other users.
We can suspend or delete an account that breaks these rules.
Music data and links
- Album data, covers and previews come from Apple and MusicBrainz. They belong to their owners. Previews are for listening in the app only.
- The app can match an album wrongly. Check the record before you buy it.
- Links to Apple Music and Spotify open their services. Their own terms apply there.
Your content
Your collection, wishlist, notes and conditions stay yours. We use them only to run the app for you, as described in the Privacy Notice.
Liability
The test version is given "as is", without a guarantee that it works without errors. We are not liable for indirect damage or for decisions you make with the app, such as a purchase. This does not limit liability that the law does not allow to limit, for example for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.
Changes
We can change these Terms. We show the new date at the top and ask you to accept important changes in the app.
Law
Polish law applies. If you live in another EU country, the mandatory consumer law of that country also protects you.
